Non-endowed funds
Immediate support for causes that matter
You can deliver immediate support to the cause or organization close to your heart by establishing a non-endowed fund through Napa Valley Community Foundation. In doing so, you’ll benefit from the tax advantages and our community knowledge and ability to accept a range of gifts, simple or complex. When you start a fund that is not endowed, the assets are spent as grants are made. You can maintain a fund by adding to it, each time receiving the maximum allowable charitable tax deduction. Initial gift required: $10,000.
Support a nonprofit agency
You establish a designated fund that provides support to a nonprofit doing important work in Napa County. If that agency ceases to exist or changes in mission, the fund will be redirected so that it continues to support your charitable wishes.
Support a cause
You establish a field of interest fund that addresses an area of community life important to you and your family, business or group: Arts. Aging. Environment. At-risk youth. Our staff continually monitors changing community needs so that grants made in the name of your fund make a difference.
